Protect your ceramic creations with Clay Coat - a quartz ceramic sealant that makes unglazed areas completely waterproof and stain resistant. With its non-toxic, all-natural formula, it creates an invisible layer of protection that is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. For use on bisqueware, fully-fired unglazed wares, fired underglaze, alternatively fired surfaces, exposed cracks within crazed glazes & more.
Directions for use:
Begin with a clean surface that's completely dry and free from dust and grease. Surface must be intact (not chipping or flaking).
1: Shake bottle before use.
2: Apply. While wearing waterproof gloves, spray/dip/brush one even layer on to surface until it no longer readily absorbs the sealant. If sealant gets on a glazed area, wipe off with paper towel. Apply only one coat.
3: Let cure. Allow 24 hours before handling.
Use within 12 months of purchase. Store in a cool, dark place.

I was looking for a product to seal unglazed parts of the pottery I create. This product does the job! It can be sprayed or brushed on and really seals it well!
